The final match of the first round of the FACEIT Major's New Challengers has been postponed to Thursday morning due to technical issues, the event's organisers have announced.
The battle for the final spot in the 1-0 pool will start at 11:00, pushing back all the remaining matches of the day by at least one and a half hour to accommodate the new schedule.
The draw for the 1-0 and 0-1 pools will still be held tonight at 01:45 "following a discussion with all teams involved", according to FACEIT, who apologised for the disruption to the stream broadcast.
Astralis and compLexity had been waiting for nearly two hours to start their match following an "unforeseen network outage" at the Twickenham Stadium, which will stage both the New Challengers and the New Legends stages of the FACEIT Major.
Due to this evening's unforeseen network outage at Twickenham Stadium, we will be unable to broadcast today's final match, Astralis vs. compLexity. The match will be played on stream, tomorrow morning, at 10AM BST.— FACEIT (@FACEIT) September 5, 2018
