compLexity defeat BIG on Inferno

compLexity go 2-1 in London after upsetting BIG on Inferno, 16-12, and are one win away from moving on to the next stage.

The first pistol round on Inferno saw BIG try an A execute, but a solid defense by Complexity, who didn’t have a single point of HP lost, gave the North American side the first round of the match. A proper execute by BIG with the gun advantage in the first round got the German team on the board, but a clean defense across the map by Complexity reset the European team. A massive round by Owen "⁠smooya⁠" Butterfield with an ace, including a 1vs4 clutch, kept BIG close, 2-4. The match quickly evened out, as BIG took advantage of an economic advantage to make it 4-4.

After having gotten the lead once again, Complexity’s Shahzeb "⁠ShahZaM⁠" Khan and Rory "⁠dephh⁠" Jackson were able to win a 2vs2 retake on A to make it a two-point advantage after 10 rounds, 6-4. With the economic balances swayed, it was now Complexity who were able to make it a steeper lead, taking the half 9-6 after giving a couple late rounds to BIG.

After the switch, Jaccob "⁠yay⁠" Whiteaker was quick to get the entry kill on smooya in the second pistol round as Complexity went on to plant on B, but doubles by Johannes "⁠tabseN⁠" Wodarz and Fatih "⁠gob b⁠" Dayik won the 4vs5 afterplant for BIG. The match then evened out, with 9-9 on the board, when yay then did a 1vs4 clutch with the AWP and CZ75 to keep his team in the lead.

It was finally Complexity who were able to get ahead and set the pace. BIG tried to contain Complexity, winning two rounds in a row, but the North American side who were able to take sites over and over didn’t allow the Europeans to get back in the lead at any point and went out to win the map,16-12.
