North survive Rogue after three overtimes

North stay alive in London after defeating Rogue, 25-23, on Inferno, and are currently 2-2.

The last match of the day took place on Inferno, and saw Daniel "vice" Kim win a 1vs2 clutch on the attacking side to take the first pistol round. After the anti-ecos, North were able to stop Rogue in part thanks to superior weapons as the North American side had saved SMGs. The following round, Rogue hit B and reset the Danes who called an early save. The early game then destabilized as the teams traded rounds.

North were finalyl able to win two in a row to force Rogue on an eco and tie it up in the following round after eco-bashing the North American side on Banana. North went on to win on the CT side, but just barely, 8-7 at half.

MSL & co. were able to survive after a triple overtime against Rogue

The second half of the map started with Rogue winning the pistol round on the defense with four slick headshots by Hunter "SicK" Mims with the USPs to tie the match back up. Rogue then followed it up twice to take a 10-8 lead. With Rogue up 11-8, North were able to plant B, but a crisp retake by the Americans kept them solidly in the lead, and they kept winning all the way to 14-9.

North were finally able to get on to board after abusing B a couple of rounds, and then changed it up taking A and starting to mount the comeback, 12-14. Having chased all of Rogue’s players to take away their weapons, they were able to win the following round to make it a one-round match. Doubles by SicK and Casper "cadiaN" Møller stopped North’s momentum, but the Danes were able to push into B in a 4vs5 and turn the round in their favor to take it all the way. North rushed B and after a quad-kill by Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye found themselves going to overtime.

Rogue were unable to win on several match points

Rogue were able to find their groove back in the first half of overtime, winning the first round with doubles by SicK and Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland. Despite losing the second round, they were then able to win the third thanks to a multi-kill round by vice, to make it 17-16 before going on the attacking side. They managed to plant on A in a 3vs3, which vice and cadiaN with an AWP double from site were able to win to get on match point. Ultimately, though, Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen were able to trighten their defenses and tie it back up, 18-18.

The second overtime saw the teams once again trade rounds, with Rogue going ahead to into the second half, they traded rounds with North. In the last round, they were unable to stop a bomb plant on B, which Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen defended in a 1vs1 against vice to make it triple overtime.

North, on the attacking side, were finally able to take the lead after the first half of the third overtime, and were then able to finally take the match, ending it 25-23 on the CT side.

rogue's B hold was very lacking. Barring the occasional heroics from a single player here and there, any time North were at a man disadvantage they'd reliably execute on B, take site, and hold the retake
