With a short Twitter post, Red Reserve revealed that their 23-year-old AWPer was removed from the active roster and placed on the bench, effective immediately. As of now, it is not known who will replace twist, with more updates to follow "in the coming days".
The organization didn't put out the reason for the benching but did state that they are open to offers for twist. Red Reserve's last tournament was DreamHack Open Monteal, where Alfred "RuStY" Karlsson stood-in for their IGL Hampus "hampus" Poser, and before that they played the Europe Minor, finishing 5-6th at both events.
twist was the team's best performer over the last three months, sitting at a 1.12 rating. The news of his benching comes just shortly after Jesper "JW" Wecksell stated in our interview that twist was someone they were looking to pick up during fnatic's struggles in February.
Red Reserve currently have:
Simon "twist" Eliasson (benched)
Christian "chrille" Lindberg (coach)
