ptr, gMd & m1tch leave ex-Dignitas

Peter "ptr" Gurney, Anthony "gMd" Guimond, and Mitch "mitch" Semago have parted ways with the ex-Dignitas lineup, Dust2.us reports.

The changes come soon after the North American organization released their male CS:GO squad in late August, most likely due to the team being relegated from the ESL Pro League with a 2-20 record.

Mere days after the roster lost its support, Gage "Infinite" Green left the lineup to link up with AZIO, where the 20-year-old appeared on their active ESEA roster — leaving a void in the ex-Dignitas lineup.

ptr is once again looking for a new home

After ptr's four-month tenure on the roster, the 28-year-old AWPer revealed he "didn't feel confident in the lineup" and will now weigh up his options for the future, but wished the team "could have figured something out."

Shortly after Gurney's departure, gMd and mitch also departed due to the team not retaining two members of the lineup from the previous season, marking the team as "dead."

It is uncertain what will happen to the team's MDL spot as the ex-Dignitas roster is now depleted, with MDL Season 29 set to begin September 18th.

Nope m1tch has been better this year and i've heard in casts and interviews that m1tch is an extremely dedicated and coachable player. hltv.org/stats/players/compare/10470/m1t..

well it is upward isn't it? gMd seems to be improving, where m1tch appears to be inconsistent and declining at times, according to the graph. gMd is moving upwards, without the random bounces down which is what a player needs to be able to do to go to the next level. Not play really good sometimes, you gotta play reallly good almost ALL the time if you are going to do OK at the next level, which gMd is doing.

eww woops. well regardless, from what I saw gMd played better against better quality players and impressed me more later in the year/season...where as m1tch kind of fell of my radar after the early hype

Wheb did gmd ever impress when he was on rogue? He was their weakest player meanwhile m1tch is dominating. Mdl

they should probably be on a team together, because it is doubtful any of them are anything more than MDL material but if they don't band together and get on a bad team 1 could slip to advanced

your comparison is pretty bad. Mitch has had majority of his games were against lower tiers in MDL. gMd played against better teams while on Rogue and swole patrol. way fewer MDL games. essentially compared Pro league to MDL stats

If you look at LAN stats m1tch is also superior and compounded by the other things I said about him where as gmd has already had his chance and was kicked

Pretty sure the majority of the time when it says a player leaves it means they were cut. The orgs are just being nice. Can't remember how many times the org will say someone left because of family matters are to focus more on his studies and less then a week later they are already looking for a team.
