5POWER and Flash qualify for eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals

Both Chinese teams have secured their spot to the $100,000 event, with 5POWER coming out victorious over Flash in the three-map grand final at eXTREMESLAND 2018 China Regional Finals.

Many familiar names from the Chinese scene were present at the four-team event held in Suzhou, China, featuring former members of TYLOO, including the likes of QiFang "Karsa" Su's EHOME, Bin "Savage" Liu's CyberZen, and YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng's Flash.

In the BO3 double-elimination competition, Mongolian-powered 5POWER advanced to the grand final after cruising past CyberZen in their opening series and Flash in the upper bracket final, with 2-0 victories.

Shuadapai's 5POWER won eXTREMESLAND China Finals in the weekend

EHOME was the first team to be sent home early following defeats against Flash and the Zhen "HZ" Huang-less CyberZen, with the latter two duking it out in the consolidation final.

YuLun "Summer" Cai's side prevailed in the 2-0 series and secured the qualification spot to the main tournament held on October 18-21.

In the grand final, Gan-Erdene "dobu" Batbold and co. snatched away their opponent's map pick on Dust2, 16-10, thanks to an 11-4 half on the CT side. Flash traded it for the second map and won 16-13 on Mirage.

In the deciding map, 5POWER crushed Flash in a one-sided show on Cache despite YangYang "ayaya" Zheng clutching a 1v3 situation at 15-2, only to prolong the inevitable 16-3 result.

It hurts watching Flash failing all the time. Man, I love this team, but they play far below their actual skill-level. Do some european bootcamp, or even CIS or NA.

They were doing better with Karsa, it’s sad that they didn’t do well with Freeman and zhoking, I always thought Karsa,AttackeR, summer, zhoking and Freeman was the correct line up. FeelsBadMan -LOVEYY +IGL

tbh, I wouldn't remove LOVEYY, he's one of the best available Chinese out there. It's kind of sad that they are limited in communication, otherwise they could've looked for some English-speaking dude.
