Vitality reportedly plan to expand their esports footprint even further and are believed to be locked in negotiations with G2 over benched duo NBK- and Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, and with aAa over star player Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut.
According to VPEsports, negotiations between Vitality and the other two organisations "are moving in the right direction", with an agreement reportedly close at hand.
The team will be coached by Philippe "faculty" Rodier, who played for teams like eSport-Eu, aAa and eXtensive in 1.6. In recent years, he has written books on esports and on the impact of coaching in football.
Vitality are one of the most successful esports organisations in France, with players competing in multiple games. Their League of Legends team will compete at this year's World Championship, in South Korea, as the second European seed after amassing the most championship points throughout the 2018 season.
