The decision comes in the aftermath of the team's disappointing run at the FACEIT Major, where they were unable to retain their Legend status after going 0-3 in the second stage of the competition.
Winstrike, who lost to Liquid, fnatic and Cloud9 in London, plan to rebuild the team around Boombl4 and coach Dmitry "iksou" Mikhaylichenko, but, according to a statement from the Russian organisation, it is possible that some of the benched players will be brought back into the line-up.
A final decision will be made "in the coming days", according to Winstrike, with the team set to compete in the qualifiers for EPICENTER and WESG.
"We could not keep our eyes closed after the 0-3 and pretend that everything is in order," Winstrike COO Oleg Sukalkin wrote.
"The team obviously needs changes, and they will happen. We are now thinking about potential replacements and considering offers from other organisations."
