AVANGAR are the champions of Hellcase Cup 7 after defeating Kinguin 2-1 (16-14 on Mirage, 8-16 on Train and 16-12 on Cache).

The grand final kicked off on Mirage, AVANGAR's map pick, with the Kazakhstani side winning their CT pistol, in part thanks to Alexey "qikert" Golubev's triple-kill. Although Kinguin hit back immediately with a three-round winning streak, AVANGAR responded with a trio of rounds of their own to take control of proceedings, 4-3.

From there, both teams kept trying to find momentum in the match, but the first half was a back-and-forth affair that saw Kinguin eventually bag a narrow 8-7 lead.

With a successful pistol and subsequent anti-ecos to start off the second half, AVANGAR turned the score around once again, 10-8. The Polish team won four rounds in convincing fashion to go up 12-10, but then, AVANGAR were able to read their opponents perfectly, winning five rounds without response to hit map-point.

Even though Kinguin still tried to take Mirage to overtime by hitting 14 rounds, AVANGAR shut their hopes with a triple-kill from Aidyn "KrizzeN" Turlybekov in a 2v4 post-plant situation to take the lead in the series.

Despite losing another pistol round, Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas's men got off to a flying start as CTs on their map pick, Train. In the ninth round, AVANGAR finally got back the board with a crucial triple-kill from qikert, but the Poles remained in the driving seat, losing just one more round to switch sides with a dominant 12-3 lead.

In the second half, Kinguin picked up their first pistol of the series, which they followed up with the subsequent anti-eco. Then, AVANGAR found some breathing room, as they lost only one of the next six rounds, but it was in vain, as Karol "rallen" Rodowicz and co. kept calm and collected to close out the map in the next round, 16-8.

The decider, Cache, began with Kinguin retaking the A bombsite from AVANGAR to win their CT pistol and eventually go up 2-0. After building up their economy, the Kazakhs strung three rounds together, but Kinguin responded with a successful pair of rounds to make it 4-3.

AVANGAR did not back down and lost only two more before securing a 9-6 half-time lead, with Timur "buster" Tulepov clutching a 1v2 post-plant situation in the 15th round to inspire his team for the second half. Now playing as Terrorists, however, Kinguin quickly equalized the score after winning the pistol round.

A good defensive strategy eventually gave AVANGAR their 11th round, which forced TaZ to call for a tactical pause, but that was not enough to stop their opponents, who went on to bag the next two rounds. Kinguin still won two of the following three rounds to make it 11-14, but they could not find the formula for success as AVANGAR calmly finished things off at 16-12.

Hellcase is bet site, and people buy cases, so if they buy some specific case it goes towards the hellcase cup prizepool.
