OpTic demolish BIG; Renegades best compLexity in Kiev
OpTic and Renegades are now 1-1 in the Swiss standings at StarSeries Season 6 after the Danes dominated BIG 16-2 on Inferno and the Oceanic roster beat Complexity 16-9 on Mirage.
Starting out the second day were OpTic and BIG, two teams sporting a 0-1 score in the Swiss bracket. The Inferno match saw OpTic win the pistol round as CTs as well as the following anti eco for a clean start, which the Danes followed up with two more to lead 4-0. BIG then put themselves on the board with a single round but were instantly reset financially in the next.

Now on pistols, the Germans nearly clinched the seventh round by hitting the B site, but were ultimately shut down by René "cajunb" Borg in a post-plant situation. BIG looked frustrated on the offensive, but finally broke through the OpTic defences on B to make it 8-2.
The Danes completely shut down Fatih "gob b" Dayik's men for the rest of the half to lead 13-2 before switching over to the T side, where OpTic won the second pistol and quickly closed out the match 16-2.

Next up was the Renegades vs. Complexity matchup taking place on Mirage, where the new Oceanic lineup won the first pistol round as CTs with each player getting a kill. Aaron "AZR" Ward's men quickly took two anti-ecos and also denied the first gun round from Complexity to reach a swift 4-0 lead.
Renegades won the fifth round, but the North Americans finally put themselves on the board in the next on the back of a triple-kill from the birthday boy Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan. The young Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker copied his teammate in the following round with three kills to get his team on two, ruining Renegades' economy. ShahZaM nearly got another triple in the ninth, but couldn't hold on in the post-plant situation against Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad and Justin "jks" Savage (6-3).

Renegades won the next, but Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz' men then finally managed to defend a bomb plant on B with a UMP triple-kill from the Canadian in-game leader, who started to look fired up as Complexity eventually reduced their deficit by three before the half (9-6 Renegades).
stanislaw continued his good form in the second pistol round, as the North Americans won it on the back of another triple-kill from the captain. Now on the CT side, Complexity won the following anti eco to get themselves to eight, but Renegades then won the first gun round to reach double digits.
Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai and co. then assumed control of the second half, as they pulled ahead to a 13-8 lead before Complexity answered back with a succesful retake on the B site. That would be all she wrote for the North Americans, though, as Renegades won three in a row to bag the match 16-9.
