BIG see off coL; HR eliminate Sprout in Kiev

BIG and HellRaisers have survived at StarSeries i-League Season 6 after they eliminated Complexity and Sprout, respectively.

The first elimination game in the Swiss group saw BIG take on Complexity on Cache after both teams lost their first two games at the event. The T-sided North American team picked up the first three rounds but BIG responded in the fourth round.

The German team tied the game at 3-3 with two more round wins but Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan's triple kill gave Complexity their fourth round and the lead. BIG hit back with two flawless rounds to take the lead for the first time and finished the half 11-4 ahead off the back of an eight round streak.

BIG improved their record to 1-2

Even though BIG lost the second pistol, Owen "smooya" Butterfield & Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz clutched a 2vs4 in the following round to make it 12-5. BIG extended their lead to 14-5 with two round victories during which they only lost one player.

tabseN picked up a triple kill in the 23rd round and earned BIG seven match points. Fatih "gob b" Dayik & company closed out the match with a 16-8 final scoreline and remained alive at StarSeries i-League Season 6 while Complexity went out with a 0-3 record.

The next game also featured two teams with 0-2 records—Sprout and HellRaisers. The German-Danish team started on the CT-side on Inferno, winning the pistol round cleanly as Josef "faveN" Baumann got a triple kill. After losing the first three rounds, HellRaisers picked up three of the following four to trail 4-3.

Issa "ISSAA" Murad & company were unable to tie things up as they gave away three opening kills to Deagles in the eighth round (5-3). After Sprout claimed six consecutive rounds, Özgür "woxic" Eker stepped up with triple kills in the last two rounds of the half and HellRaisers finished the half with five rounds on the board.

HR got their first win in Kiev

Another triple by woxic wasn't enough to win the second pistol as Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen closed out the round with a 1vs2 victory. HellRaisers upset Sprout with a round win during their second eco and followed it up with a 2vs2 retake on the B-site to trail 12-7.

HellRaisers came back to tie the game at 13-13 but couldn't go ahead as faveN got two entry kills to open up the A-site in the 27th round. HellRaisers picked up the following two rounds to get a match point but Sprout took the game to overtime after winning the 30th round with a limited buy.

The game went to another overtime after the first one ended 18-18. Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow got an ace to start the second overtime and HellRaisers went on to finish the match with a 22-19 victory and eliminated Sprout.

no he wont decline and its good for him . If he will shine on sprout im pretty sure he will get hired by better teams in the future . he need to show he can play atleast on this team
2018-10-09 13:23
have you seen his talent? This kid is the next ropz probably even better. Maybe mouz could actually pick him up if it's true that sunny is leaving
2018-10-09 13:25
sunny wasnt the guy which was supposed to leave lol .it was oskar . he still havent played in any team beside pugs. so sprout its a good team for him since its his first real team .

Sprout so unlucko this tournament it feels bad. One round fucked up the game vs Mouz and one whiff the W against HR. They had a good showing, close matches. Not mad at them, they will improve. But going 0-3 with -9 RD is cruel as fuck.
2018-10-09 13:31
Sprout is boring, glad they are out
