OpTic got off to a great start in their 1-1 match against Vega Squadron on Inferno, leading 6-0 on the Terrorist side on the back of impact plays from Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen and Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke.
Vega Squadron started clawing back into it with Dmitriy "jR" Chervak's AWP finding key entries and pickoffs, which helped the Russian-Ukrainian side secure four out of the next six rounds. OpTic replied with a B execute to make it 8-5, but the last two rounds went the other way as Vega Squadron's timely aggression allowed them to win a 3v4 situation.
Heavily assisted by jR, Anton "tonyblack" Kolesnikov stepped up to the plate with a quad-kill in the second pistol round, but Vega then went up against k0nfig's Deagle on B, which found four kills to shift momentum back in favor of the Danes.
After Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer turned around a dangerous anti-force with a 1v2 clutch, OpTic looked dominant on the defense, only letting go of one round in which Vega exploited a gap on B to win a 3v4 to secure their second win in the group stage at 16-9.

In the last match of round three, Gambit took on North on Train. Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev's side got off to a 3-0 lead after picking up the pistol round as Terrorists, while North grabbed the first two gunrounds after retaking the B bombsite twice in a row.
However, the Danes soon found themselves in trouble when they lost the next two, as they were unable to string rounds together, which took a toll on their economy as Gambit went up 9-3. Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså caught a break in the next round, with time running out as he denied a bomb plant in a 1v2 situation, but Rustem "mou" Telepov & co. still secured double digits in the first half.
Gambit added their second pistol round on top, but, this time, they didn't survive the following forcebuy. North started closing the gap as Gambit struggled to defend either bombsite and found themselves ecoing again and again until the score was even at 11-11.
The match started going back and forth, but the Danes pulled away at 13-13 with a great fake and closed out the match two rounds later, at 16-13.
