North and Vega Squadron have clinched the last two playoffs spots with wins over Imperial (16-11 on Train) and HellRaisers (16-7 on Inferno), respectively.

North entered their deciding match against Imperial with a pistol round victory on the offense, reaching a 3-0 lead before the two sides started going back and forth. However, the Danes began abusing their opponents' low economy, as the European mixture were unable to string rounds together.

After resetting Imperial, North claimed a 7-2 lead before Nemanja "nexa" Isaković gave his team their third round with a 1v1 clutch. The Lithuanian side got reset two more times before the half ended and not even a forcebuy win courtesy of the Serbian and Eimantas "pounh" Lazickas helped prevent North from getting 11 rounds in the first half.

North make it to playoffs with their new lineup

With Philip "aizy" Aistrup putting up a quad-kill, the Danish side won the second pistol round as well, but, this time, Imperial replied with Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas finding a triple to start clawing back into the match.

However, it wasn't enough to complete the comeback, as North took over the match at 12-10 and secured four out of the next five rounds after defending each bombsite without much trouble.

The final match of the group stage saw HellRaisers and Vega Squadron square off on Inferno, with the former team getting off to a good start, converting a pistol round win into a 3-0 lead.

Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov picked up a triple in the gunround, helping his team tie up the scoreline before taking their first lead in the match following a four-round streak. HellRaisers continued to struggle in the gunrounds, only securing two before the half ended at 10-5 in favor of Vega, in large part thanks to Anton "tonyblack" Kolesnikov's 1v3 clutch and a few more multikills from chopper.

Vega Squadron eased past HellRaisers

Vega Squadron extended their lead to 12-5 when they won the pistol on the back of another triple by tonyblack. HellRaisers' opted for a B stack with saved pistols and Özgür "woxic" Eker made it work with a 1v1 clutch.

However, after an eco, the Russian-Ukrainian side were back to winning ways as they focused on the B bombsite until they came out victorious at 16-7 to clinch the last playoffs spot.

+1 EDIT: So happy for Torben, hes a friend of mine, well we only met once IRL, but we have been friends for about 4½-5 years through internet and talked with each other on Teamspeak, and played multiple Faceit games with each other :D Will always support him because he supported me with some other stuff IRL outside the game, good friend.

Proof
2018-10-11 06:24
Well, what proof? Do you think i record my conversations with him on teamspeak? lol I am not his bestfriend my dude, as i said, we just spoke online and played a bunch of CS :), i only met him once IRL. But i am friends with him on steam: steamcommunity.com/id/torbeniorden Obviously i wont tell you who i am out of his steam friends because i dont want people to know what my steam account is, not that i am scared about showing my steam profile but id rather keep my profile private :). All i really care about is that he is a good friend even tho i dont really know him IRL, but he helped me with some shit that happend IRL, dont really want to tell you what happend. EDIT: Also, why do you make it such a big deal? :P Yes i know Torben IRL / on the internet etc, its not like he is some god that cure people from sickness lol, hes just a good IGL & CS player & friend, imo of course
2018-10-11 06:41
Youre way too proud that he is your online friend... *facepalm* Good for you! *both thumbs up and a smile a bit too big*
2018-10-11 22:59
Huh? No not really. I am not proud that i am his friend, i am supporting him and i am proud of his achievments and that he signed for a nice org together with some nice talented players. Hes not just an online friend like i explained he helped me with a lot of shit IRL, And obv i wont put my steam profile on HLTV, not a chance in hell. I even typed in my edit "Why do you make it such a big deal"? Its the Lithuanian guy that makes it a big deal lol. Seems more like you are toxic over something, is everything alright? Do you think i just added him and said "Hey dude, lets just be friends because you play for Fragsters"? No i didnt, hes an awesome guy. EDIT: And maybe you should check out HLTV rules, it clearly states: * You are responsible for the threads you participate in. No one can force you to join in or read it. * Act like a normal person. Why be toxic? Just dont reply on my reply, just say *sigh* and scroll down/up or exit the news page? Calm down Jarppi, be happy and smile like you typed it. Bye now.
2018-10-11 23:18
Oh, sigh. Learn to summarise.. These short stories are way too long.
2018-10-12 19:15
Well OK: I met Torben online many years ago, hes a nice dude and i have met him once IRL, he helped me with some shit IRL and i am happy that he signed for a nice org with nice teammates. This Lithuanian guy and you make it such a big deal? Why be angry, just scroll down/up or say *sigh* and move on? I also mentioned HLTV rules to you since you are breaking them. Better?
2018-10-12 19:24
Sigh, i didnt ask for you to summarise. Just summarise while writing. No one needs to know all the details on HLTV.org *facepalm* I promise that learning to summarise your point will help you in life. Come back in 10 yrs and thank me. :*
