Royal Bandits have informed the Chinese organizers that they will not be attending the Shanghai event next week, due to visa problems for the Turkish side.
The news takes place after the eXTREMESLAND groups had been revealed, visa issues are no stranger to the Turkish scene following several examples in the past including HellRaisers star Özgür "woxic" Eker.
Despite Royal Bandits' efforts, the Turkish organisation were told by the embassy it was impossible for them to acquire the Chinese visas in time to compete (including the express method).
This was the first time eXTREMESLAND hosted a Turkish qualifier, which saw Ufuk "SasuKe" Göktaş's crew win the grand final, 2-0, over Bursaspor Espor last month. They were set to face TNC at the main event in Group D, alongside BOOT-d[S] and XCN.
The tournament organizers have informed HLTV.org that there will be no replacements. Therefore, the current team list will be reduced to the following fifteen teams:
