No2B, Bragantino qualify for ESL Latin America Season 2

No2B and Bragantino have booked places in ESL Latin America League Season 2 after finishing top two in the qualifier.

A total of 22 teams took part in the qualifier, which featured a single-elimination bracket, with the initial matches being BO1, while the remaining were BO3's, for the chance to earn a spot in the main league.

The last-four stage saw nEEts ock horns with No2B, with Cache being the first map of the series. Matheus "pesadelo" Panisset & co. were in control for most of the game, but then Wesley "GW" Vinicius's troops recovered from a 9-14 deficit to force overtime, in which nEEts sailed through to claim the 19-16 map victory.

Eight Latin American teams will fight for a spot in Odense

The series then moved to Inferno, a map that turned out to be one sided as No2B ran out 16-8 victors - a result that shifted the momentum in their favour before Dust2, where they would claim a convincing 16-6 victory following an inspired performance from Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia, who put in a 1.82 rating.

On the other side of the bracket, Bulldozer and Bragantino clashed on Overpass, where Rodrigo "drg" Ausenka and his men dominated the first half as Terrorists before eventually cleaning things up in the second half as CTs for a 16-8 series success.

Cache saw Bragantino's offense on fire at the start, but Lucas "luk" Soares & co. swiftly doused the fire to secure an 8-7 score at halftime. The second half saw the two sides trade rounds until the 14-14 tie was eventually snapped by Bragantino, who would go on to secure the map, 16-14, to book the final spot in the league.

What can they do if Argentinian, Chilean, Peruvian team suck? Put one team from each country other than Brazil by default there? Stop crying. There were spots for all of South America, if they're not there is because they didn't deserve, not ESL's fault.
