IEM Katowice's open qualifiers are ready to kick off on October 22, starting the road to the IEM Katowice 2019 Major. Here are the invited teams to the closed qualifiers around the world.
Another Major cycle begins, with teams around the world signing up to play the open qualifiers. The eight best teams in Europe, North America, and CIS will then face-off against the eight teams invited in each region in a closed qualifier.
In Latin America, Oceania, China, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and The Middle East, the teams that will make it through to the closed portion of the qualifiers will be four.
Two teams from each open qualifier will move on to the closed qualifier, from which several teams, between two and eight depending on the region, will move on to the Minors. All of the information concerning the open and closed qualifiers to the Minors can be read here.
