eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals reaches playoffs

The groups of the $100,000 tournament have come to a close with eight teams making it to the quarter-finals, which have been drawn by the organizers.

The group stage, played in a GSL format, saw 5POWER, Chiefs, MVP PK, and BOOT-d[S] clinch first places in their respective groups on day one of the event taking place in Shanghai.

BOOT-d[S] will face Malaysian side Frostfire in the quarter-finals

On day two, the competition briefly came to a halt when OpTic India's Nikhil "forsaken" Kumawat was caught cheating during their match against Revolution, and the team was immediately disqualified from the tournament.
