BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen group stage maps announced

The map picks for the round-robin matches of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen have been revealed.

Overpass will be the center of attention in the group stage as six of the 15 round robin matches will take place on the map that was introduced at the end of 2013.

Dust2 and Nuke were banned in all vetos, while the usual suspects, Inferno and Mirage, were picked four and three times, respectively.

Cache and Train were picked only once

The $250,000 event will take place on November 2-3 at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. Two sides that top the group will advance to the best-of-three grand final to earn the trophy and $125,000.

Im going to the event and it will be fantastic. After attending ESL and IEM evente I look forward to this. Not the weeklong tournaments but everything resolved in 36 hours. I love it!!

I guess. However I also attended Dreamhack masters Malmö where no danes attended. And in Oakland there were only Optic. I love great cs regardless team. Tactics and teamwork is fabulous regardless team.

I only think its the online viewers saying it was bad. I attended the event too and i thought it was epic. Also, im pretty sure the original plan was for everyone to have a headset and be able to choose the match they'd listen too. Atleast thats what a hltv article said. Considering they're reworking cobble again, I think they might remove either cache or Mirage, maybe even overpass, cuz these 2 maps are the oldest in the Map Pool as of now, with Mirage older than cache, and cache older than Overpass. Inferno ain't going anywhere.

The Minor lighting changes, the Stairs to B etc.? That's pretty Minor, with respect to what happened to D2 or inferno or Nuke for that matter. Mirage didn't have a Complete Makeover. To be fair, it probably doesn't need one. Cache might look better with a new Splash of Paint. Overpass hasn't been changed after becoming permanent to the Active Duty.

Kinda sad about no Nuke picks since i know both NIP and Astralis love the map but against Astralis i assume it is a permaban but giving them overpass is kinda of a mistake aswell since it is another map Astralis is known for. i'm happy there is no dust 2 as the map is usually shit except seeing MIBR get 16-0'd was fucking hilarious and the lack of cache is down to Navi and Astralis autobanning it in their matches so it won't come up in their games. kinda sad at the lack of train the map is great and most teams in the pool like it and often play on it so again i'm suprised that it has not been picked.
