kassad to miss IEM Chicago
The 32-year-old revealed in a Twitter post that his visa hasn't been processed in time for the Chicago event set to take place from November 6-11th in the Illinois city's Wintrust Arena.
kassad officially rejoined Renegades in October after suddenly appearing behind the team at StarSeries i-League Season 6 in Kiev. The Serbian had been coaching the former Australian lineup for one and a half year, but left for Valiance in May before reuniting with "The Boys", who were backed by Steve "Ryu" Rattacasa in his absence.
Renegades were invited to IEM Chicago along with the tournament's announcement in August, two months before the team replaced Noah "Nifty" Francis and Karlo "USTILO" Pivac with Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas and Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai.
With the restructuring of the team, where former in-game leader Nifty left for the new Envy roster, the calling role went to Aaron "AZR" Ward, who revealed in an interview with HLTV.org that he was a proponent of bringing back kassad and said that the Serbian helps the 26-year-old with "a lot with stuff that sometimes I don't see."
