November 11th, 2018 19:22

The third open qualifier for the Europe Minor has reached its conclusion, with Valiance and x-kom progressing to the closed stage.

LeftOut, Tempo Storm and Tricked were among the notable teams who crashed out on day one of the qualifier, featuring over 200 teams from across the continent.

The tournament will soon enter its best-of-three stages, with the quarter-finals featuring a mouth-watering clash between the new Valiance roster and Vitality, who had to work hard to fend off the challenge of mix team cats in the fourth round.

EspiranTo's Valiance progress to the closed qualifier

The top two sides of the qualifier will progress to a closed stage, joining eight invitees and six other qualified teams in another qualifier, from which the top eight will seal passage to the Minor.

We will continue to update this article with the latest developments, but all matches can be followed live via the tournament page. The complete bracket can be found on ESEA's website.

Take care that 2 teams will qualify, so at last qualifier, there will be 2 less good teams. Best opportunity to qualify then. If not, don't worry. They are getting better every day time to improve and go to the next.

3 times they got eliminated. 1st qualifier almost lost vs leftout 16-14 and then lost to sprout 9-16 (round of 8), 2nd qualifier lost to tempo storm 16-7 (round of 32), 3rd qualifier almost lost vs cats 16-14 and then lost to valiance in overtime 16-19 (round of 8). how do they almost lose to random mixes of cats, leftout and then drop 16-7 to tempo storm... LDLC, 3DMAX, Movistar Riders, HAVU also didn't play this qualifier and could potentially beat Vitality if they do decide to play.
