The only CIS team they lost to was Na’Vi, if losing to the 2nd best team in the world is a bad thing then ur mentally ill. CIS minor should just be absorbed into the EU minor, because if these teams are so good they’ll qualify through the EU minor anyway!

Nah, HR aren’t CIS. Having 2 CIS players doesn’t make you a CIS team. As I said before, if these teams are so good they’ll get out of the EU minor just fine.

Woah retard talking about other people being mentally ill for no reasons cannot see a team qualified thru cis quali - so they are obviously CIS with russian, ukrainian, 2 muslims and DeadFox, so so Eu... And they easily got to top16, Vega did and spirit was very. VP was a wasted spot, SS with the coach - same. Danes were cery dissapointing. Don't see the reason to change anything

I don't think that the problem is that there no strong teams in CIS. The problem is that there are so much more strong teams in EU that will never get a chance because of how stacked it is.

they do have a chance, in the qualifiers. If they can't beat the better teams in the online qualifiers, there's little chance they would offline. all the new and upcomer teams are onliners, experience is essential to be better on lan

You don't understand what I'm saying. Look at this hltv.org/events/4125/europe-minor-closed.. Sure better teams will make it but far better teams will lose out at a major spot compared to CIS ones. Even if mousesports, north make it you still have ENCE, optic and a bunch of others that could win CIS Minors.
2018-11-24 16:39

You don't understand what I'm saying either. The teams you listed should make it out of the closed qualifier. And the ones that won't don't deserve to. Yes, they're better than some teams in the CIS minor, but we've seen that there's tons of potential in that scene, so the 2 spots are totally justified. So what would the EU teams gain if there were more spots in the eu minor?

Are you seriously asking what would teams gain by getting a major spot? Teams are afraid to change rosters too much just to keep their major spots. Better question what is CIS gaining by having 2 spots considering they barely do anything outside of majors? Flipsid3 farming majors back in the day, QBF/Winstrike, Spirit in and out, Vega 4 majors and they had like what 1 international result recently?
2018-11-24 16:50
1 reply
I'm asking what would eu teams gain form getting a MINOR spot. The teams that didn't make the eu minor are generally weaker than the teams at the minor, so they would never qualify... And who cares about what they do outside of majors? From valve's perspective, majors are the only thing that matters, and they're by far the most important to everyone else too. Flipside, vega, gambit, qbf and avangar all came from the cis minor and they've proved that the cis scene is a force to be reckoned with
2018-11-24 17:51
CIS minor looks much stronger on paper than EU minor. Here only Vitality looks good, while CIS minor has at least 4 strong teams who could give a good fight for the Legend spot.

This is definitely not the toughest qualifier. Maybe tougher than 3rd one considering +LDLC +Movistar +HAVU and Red Reserve with no standins. Even then that's questionable since 2 teams made it through, 3DMAX downgraded, AGO missing(?). And why keep highlighting Giants... They don't even make it to top16.

I know but he doesn't have to do it. Giants aren't good enough and it's not even close. They almost lost in their first match.

I think it's in 2h30m but matches won't be featured on HLTV until top16 and only bigger teams might have matches streamed before that. Here will be the bracket: play.esea.net/?s=events&d=brackets&id=16.. Today to top8 and tomorrow will finish and bo3 only semi-final (qualify).

Feel sad about the Spanish/Portuguese teams, but they didn't deserved to qualify playing like they did.
