boltz replaces yeL in Luminosity
The news comes less than two weeks after the 21-year-old was released from his contract with MIBR, where he had spent the previous four months on the bench following Tarik "tarik" Celik's signing for the Brazilian-American roster.
With the roster change, the only remaining member of the original WinOut squad that was signed by Luminosity back in July 2016, yel, has left the active roster, which now makes Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato the longest-standing member.
In fact, the addition of boltz makes Luminosity's fourth lineup change in the span of eight months, as the team brought in Henrique "HEN1" Teles and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles in June in lieu of Vinicios "PKL" Coelho and Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves, and Lucas "steel" Lopes had came in to fill the gap left after INTZ member Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes in April.
The Brazilian side will be looking to add more deep runs to a recent runners-up finish at DreamHack Open Atlanta, where the squad lost to Vitality in the grand final. They will debut with the new lineup in the Americas Minor North America closed qualifier, which is set to kick off on Wednesday, with Luminosity set to take on domestic opponents FURIA in the first round.
Luminosity's lineup now is:
Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (coach)
