Cloud9 come back to upset FaZe; MIBR dominate NiP at BLAST Pro Series

After being behind 11-4 at halftime on Cache, Cloud9 turned things around to win 16-12 over FaZe, while MIBR made quick work of NiP on Mirage with a 16-6 win.

Nikola "NiKo" Kovač was the hero of the first pistol round in FaZe's bout with Cloud9, the Bosnian managing a quad-kill on the T-side to win it. The European superteam quickly won the next pair to reach three, but in the fourth, Timothy "autimatic" Ta killed three with the Desert Eagle and one with the AWP to put his team on the board.

Håvard "rain" Nygaard fired right back with a triple in the fifth, which kickstarted another run from FaZe, who hastily made it to a 8-1 lead. Cloud9 then won a pair of rounds on the back of double-kills by Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey, William "RUSH" Wierzba and the stand-in Ismail "refrezh" Ali before Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men won another to reach nine, eventually reaching the halftime switch with a 11-4 lead.

flusha managed 20 kills and a 1.22 rating on Cache

Cloud9 mowed down the opposition after the break to win the second pistol and and also secured the following two anti-ecos to put themselves on seven rounds, with kioShiMa celebrating on screen after getting a MAC-10 ace. Robin "flusha" Rönnquist and co. looked poised to complete the comeback after switching to the Terrorist side, eventually evening out the score at eleven each, and also took the lead in the following round after a triple-kill round by the Swede.

Cloud9 made it to 14-11 before rain stepped up in a hold on A, the Norwegian killing four with the M4A1 to keep his team in the game. refrezh kicked things off with a crisp kill on the same site in the next round, though, which Cloud9 won to reach match point, the European side eventually completing the comeback with a 16-12 victory.

Meanwhile, MIBR took on NiP on Mirage, where the American/Brazilian side won the first pistol round with a successful bomb plant. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo’s men quickly took charge, as Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and Marcelo "coldzera" David managed several multi-kill round to help them reach a dominant 7-0 lead before the Swedes could even respond.

A reanimated Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and a double-awp setup helped the Ninjas win three in a row, but MIBR then managed a successful anti-eco to plant the bomb and secure their eighth round, in which their in-game leader got a double with the Desert Eagle.

tarik and MIBR easily beat the Ninjas in Lisbon

FalleN also planted the bomb in the next, and more importantly killed three, including a knife kill on Fredrik "REZ" Sterner, to put MIBR in a position to reach a comfortable lead before halftime, eventually making it to 11-4 at the switch, the stand-in Braxton "swag" Pierce getting two doubles in the last two rounds.

The 22-year-old American did the same in the second pistol round, which MIBR won comfortably to reach twelve, but they were reset in the next as GeT_RiGhT and REZ managed a double-kill each. NiP also won the following to get to six, but a solid defense of the B-site put their Brazilian/American opponents in a great spot to take the map, which they managed at the end by winning the next two rounds end up at 16-6.

Wtf rain and olof????? Put Coldzera back in and the last spot a good rifler/trader/support because AWPers aren't need, just as Lurker and IGL aswell. MiBR will only work with PT-BR communication, because English only makes things harder.
