Natus Vincere beat Cloud9 in Lisbon

Natus Vincere now have 6 points in the standings at BLAST Pro Series Lisbon after beating Cloud9 16-10 on Overpass.

A strong presence in Connector on Overpass gave Natus Vincere a 4vs2 advantage on the defense early in the first pistol round, and advantage they were able to convert after killing the last two Cloud9 players on the B site. After losing the eco round, Robin "flusha" Rönnquist and Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey got the two opening kills in the first gun round, which helped open up the B site for a plant that they were able to successfully defend. Natus Vincere once again got in control after stopping an A push from the European-American side, and further increasing the lead to 4-1 by winning an anti-eco.

Na`Vi were able to overcome C9 on the attacking side

After losing several rounds and going down 1-6, Cloud9 were able to get back on the board as flusha and William "RUSH" Wierzba got doubles to go on and eliminate all opposition on their way to the A site. Having followed it up, Cloud9 then won an anti-eco to make it 4-6. The Terrorists were then able to turn things around, taking a 7-6 lead, as their defaults slowly eroded Natus Vincere. They then changed the pace, hitting the B site fast, taking the first half after winning a 3vs4 after-plant. Finally, Natus Vincere got a last-second defuse to grab the last round making it 7-8.

A huge three-kill round by Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev including a 1vs1 clutch against flusha made the game even again. Natus Vincere then won the anti-eco round to get back in the lead, but a four-kill round by flusha in the first gun round tied it back up, 9-9. The teams then traded rounds, making it a brawl with a 10-10 scoreline. The CIS side had the money control at that point, and were able to take a two round lead before Cloud9 could buy again. The CIS side then went on to power through to close the match out 16-10.
