Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's side are the first team invited the $250,000 tournament, with five more set to be revealed in the few months to follow.
The news comes amongst rumors of MIBR's plans to change the lineup, as the team are reportedly looking to revert back to a fully Brazilian roster for the next year, with Jake "Stewie2K" Yip about to trade places with Liquid's Epitacio "TACO" de Melo.
The Brazilian tournament, which is set to take place on March 22-23, will be BLAST's first out of eight stops in 2019. Two more have already been revealed; one in Miami (April 12-13) and the other in Madrid, Spain (May 10-11).
The Sao Paulo stop will be MIBR's core's fifth consecutive attendance at BLAST events, as they have received invites for each one to this date.
