Rogue qualify for StarSeries i-League Season 7

Rogue have won the StarSeries i-League Season 7 North America qualifier over Envy, locking their spot at the $500,000 tournament set to start in March.

The 12-team qualifier kicked off with a double-elimination BO3 bracket, where eight teams first battled through the two GSL groups. Brazilian compatriots TeamOne & FURIA topped their respective groups, with Rogue and Envy making it through to the playoffs from second place.

In the single-elimination BO3 playoffs, Rogue were the first to book their place in the grand final after blanking eUnited, who were directly invited to the playoff stage, and putting an end to their three-map series against FURIA. On the other side of the bracket, Envy defeated Luminosity in two maps, before stunning Complexity in a three map semi-final thriller to earn their place in the final.

Hiko & co. will be traveling to Shanghai in March

The grand final kicked off on Rogue's map pick, Overpass, where a highly-contested start in the first half resulted in Envy taking the horns to secure the 9-6 half. In the second half, everything flipped for Envy, who struggled to get past a stout Rogue defense, where Spencer "Hiko" Martin led the way with a 1.42 rating in the 16-12 map victory.

The series then moved to Mirage. Envy kicked off their map pick with a sluggish start down 7-1 on their T-side, but things began to turn around for Noah "Nifty" Francis & co, who won the next five out of seven rounds to settle the first half down by three.

The second half was all Rogue out of the gates, as they promptly added five on the board. Envy would stand their ground and pick up their first of the second half, but, in the end, Danish duo Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen & Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann pounced on Envy's defense to wrap up the series 2-0, booking their place at StarSeries i-League Season 7 in Shanghai, China.

they have won a lot lately and they are on vacations. Had enough for a year 12 months 10 titles. even if it's something you love but it does get redundant after a point
2018-12-19 16:15
+1 for truth NiKo was crying super hard about them being best and winning much more than him, so they figured they'd give him a chance at this one.

actaully and made him so frustrated that he had to come up with stupid allegations or excuses that they have some settings. Even though he didn't take names or accused any particular player but still ppl fans take these things seriously and it develops a mindset. Every smoke kill from glave would always result in that thought first and then settling you down to the fact that ok he is a pro cs player of the best team playing for years now
2018-12-19 16:20
Main reason they dont go is because the tournament is in China this time.

LOL what a stupid ass excuse.
2018-12-19 08:23
It's true though. That's also why he had surgery, and was gone late 2017 and felt like shit during the major.

2018-12-19 09:13
He said something in an interview, that the states is the farthest he was able to go, and they almost even dropped out of multiple tournaments, because he didn't feel well. They also won't attend IEM Sydney anymore.

2018-12-19 14:40
Lmao you're just talking out of your ass. He went to the States and many other countries that are further than Denmark is to Russia. Device is a pussy and nothing's wrong with him. The only time he uses the "I'm sick" excuse is when Astralis suck and they're not winning. Other than that, he never uses that. Guess everything's fine with him, when they're winning huh?
2018-12-19 15:25
Not really, no. Did you even watch CS in 2017? So fucking stupid.
2018-12-19 15:37
they can use any tier 3 stand in device is useless anyways
