Johnta leaves HellRaisers; aMi steps up to coach
Johnta had been a long-time member of HellRaisers, having joined the organization in June 2016 following the departure of Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov to take over the team, which then featured a different core, including Martin "STYKO" Styk and Patrik "Zero" Žúdel.
The veteran becomes a free agent after two-and-a-half years with the Ukraine-based organization, during which he oversaw several variations of the roster. He helped them go on deep runs at tournaments such as DreamHack Open Tours in 2017 and 2018 and Moche XL Esports, as well as qualify for two Majors; ELEAGUE Major 2017 and the FACEIT Major 2018, where HellRaisers became Legends.
Taking his place is aMi, who has also been part of the organization for over two years as an analyst and occasionally stood behind the team when the coach was missing.
"Sometimes there are several ways to achieve the same goal, and there's no one right way, as all of them will eventually lead to success. It was a difficult and mutual decision made in the hope that everyone will benefit from it. Thank you all for the support and see you soon," HellRaisers CEO, Alexey "xaoc" Kucherov, said in a statement.
HellRaisers now have:
Amiran "aMi" Rehviashvili (coach)
