The move was reported on earlier on Saturday with little extra information, such as whom the Turkish star would be replacing or when he will begin playing with the team.
The 23-year-old has left ex-Space Soldiers, with whom he has been playing for the majority of his career as the oldest serving member of the latest roster, having played under the banner from early 2015 until October this year, when the whole lineup exited the Turkish organization.
XANTARES's former captain, Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli, has released a Twitlonger shortly after the news, explaining that the team will stick together despite losing their star player to the German organization.
"As you know, myself and my team have been working hard to win tournaments and represent our country as best as we can. However, we have been struggling with an array of issues for a while and internet infrastructure was only one of these. Therefore, to be able to achieve my individual best I decided move on and part ways with my former team," XANTARES said in a Twitlonger post.
"To be able to play with my new team I'll move to Germany. I know I'm leaving my family, my loved ones and my fans behind but that's something I need to do to be able to achieve the individual success I've been striving for."
BIG's roster now looks as follows:
Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić (coach)
The move leaves ex-Space Soldiers with:
Canpolat "hardstyle" Yıldıran (coach)
