A new tournament series, called 'LOOT.BET HotShot', has been announced, with the first edition featuring $20,000 in prize money.
Organised by QuickFire, the company behind SuperNova CS:GO Malta, the tournament is a follow-up to the Grand Hotshots, which saw Movistar Riders claim the first prize of over $8,500 after beating 3DMAX in the final.
The Spanish side are one of the 12 teams invited to the tournament, which will run from February 3-9. The competition will begin with a best-of-three GSL group stage, followed by a best-of-three single-elimination bracket.
In addition to the main tournament's $15,000 prize pool, $5,000 will be split equally between the European and the CIS closed qualifiers, both of which will have 16 teams in attendance and two spots on the line.
