This year's edition of LanTrek will have an ~$11,500 prize pool and six available slots from three open qualifiers. The two invites given out by the organizer have gone to HAVU and SuperJymy.

LanTrek 2019 will be played at the Tampere Sports and Exhibition Hall in Tampere, Finland, where eight teams will be in attendance to fight for the ~$11,500 prize pool on March 1-2.

zehN's HAVU is one of two invited teams

The tournament, which already has HAVU and SuperJymy as invited teams, will feature a GSL group stage with two four-team groups that will play best-of-one openers and winners/losers matches before moving on to best-of-three deciders. The tournament will then conclude after a best-of-three single-elimination bracket to be played by the top two teams in each group.

Three qualifiers have been set up by the tournament organizers, from which six teams (two from each qualifier), will earn spots at the tournament. The dates and links for the qualifiers are:

Europe Qualifier #1 (January 20th) - Here
Europe Qualifier #2 (January 26th) - Here
Europe Qualifier #3 (January 27th) - Here

The prize pool distribution is the following:

2.- ~$3,450

2019-01-10 18:33
they aren't meant to be "big money events", you have those in the neighboring countries as stated below, these are long-tradition casual LANs with minor pro-scene to attract extra viewers

The pro tournament is just a side-show :D. It's more of a big social gathering for casual gamers.
2019-01-10 21:10
lol yes, lets stop lans for low level teams so that people never get to play lan before they get to top team xddd
