Unicorns of Love unveil CS:GO team
The team, therefore, consists of Christian "crisby" Schmitt, Oliver "kzy" Heck and Markus "maRky" Reitenbach, who represented EURONICS from September of 2017 to January of 2019—when the organization announced that they would be parting ways with the team.
The General Manager of Unicorns of Love gave the following statement about the signing:
"After 5 successful years in League of Legends, we - the Unicorns of Love - are no longer part of the EU LCS. This allows us to invest into new titles next to our LoL-team in the German scene. Counterstrike has been one of the biggest esport titles in the past and now the timing is perfect for us to expand our brand into this community. We hope we can bring a lot of fun, pink and partners into the scene but of course success will be the main priority for us. We are looking forward to our journey in CS:GO." - Vivien Mallant, Unicorns of Love General Manager
The team played few games in the Hunt Wave League under the tag NeverPlay before joining Unicorns of Love, and will be playing the upcoming season of ESEA MDL. Unicorns of Love will not participate in the United Masters League, though, as that slot belongs to the organization.
