JW and KRIMZ sign three-year contracts with fnatic
Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson have extended their contracts with fnatic for another three years, the organization has announced.
The duo are fnatic's two longest standing members, having rejoined the organization in late 2016 (KRIMZ) and early 2017 (JW) following a short-lived period in GODSENT.
The players' tenure under the black-and-orange banner spans between four to five years each, as apart from the period at the brink of 2016 and 2017, they have been playing together since mid-2014, when KRIMZ joined the organization alongside Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, while JW first linked up with fnatic in mid-2013.

The news, which was first revealed on JW's Twitch stream, comes at a time when fnatic are on a steady rise in the rankings following a promising showing at IEM Chicago, where they placed 3rd-4th in their debut with Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin and Simon "twist" Eliasson, as well as a triumph at PLG Grand Slam late last year.
Most recently, the Swedish side have made another top-four finish at iBUYPOWER Masters, with their journey ending at the hands of the eventual champions, Liquid.
Their next showing will be in the New Challengers Stage of IEM Katowice, which is set to begin on February 13.
fnatic's roster remains the following:
Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson
Jesper "JW" Wecksell
Richard "Xizt" Landström
Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin
Simon "twist" Eliasson
Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson (coach)
