The announcement came shortly after Envy were eliminated from the North American closed qualifier for IEM Sydney following a 0-2 defeat to Ghost in the tournament's lower bracket semi-final.
The Danish tactician spent just over a month with Envy on loan from FaZe, who had benched the player in mid-December after winning just one Big Event during the second half of 2018.
karrigan's time with Envy has come to an end
The 28-year-old was brought in with a view to helping Envy to qualify for the IEM Katowice Major, but the team's fortunes did not improve under his charge as they finished in third place at the Americas Minor and went out last at the Minor Play-in.
In a Twitter post, karrigan wrote that he is unsure of his future and vowed to improve on his devastating recent form after averaging a 0.86 rating with the North American side.
With karrigan's departure, Envy are now left with the following quartet:
Stephen "reltuC" Cutler
Josh "jdm64" Marzano
Noah "Nifty" Francis
Taylor "Drone" Johnson
