HLTV Confirmed S3E6 VOD: A look back at Na`Vi's breakdown at ICE Challenge and a pre-Major show

The sixth episode of HLTV Confirmed, which will see the usual panel return with a look back at the GG.BET ICE Challenge and an analysis of the IEM Katowice New Challengers Stage, will go live tonight at 20:00 CET.

Update: The VOD is now available:

Main topics and timestamps:

00:02:00 - Changes to ECS format
00:17:00 - StarLadder getting a Major?
00:33:40 - Looking back at GG.BET ICE Challenge
00:45:50 - Professeur vs. Striker
00:55:50 - What to do about smooya?
01:07:10 - Top three chokes in CS:GO
01:16:30 - New Challengers Stage breakdown
01:29:30 - Major Pick'Ems
01:54:20 - Viewer questions

After a special fifth episode, in which coaches Janko "YNk" Paunović and Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov, who had just been removed from the mousesports lineup, made an appearance, the usual panel led by James Banks will return in the sixth tonight.

At the start of the show, the topics will revolve around the latest news, such as the new format of ECS for Season 7, and rumors, with StarLadder reported as 2019's second Major's organizer.

Na`Vi's poor outlook before the Major will be one of the focal points of the upcoming show

We will also take a look back at last week's GG.BET ICE Challenge, where Natus Vincere failed to live up to the status of the obvious favorite with a loss to Heroic in the opening stage and an overall second placing following North's triumph in the grand final.

Naturally, the main focus of today's show will be the IEM Katowice Major, which is set to kick off in just a few days, on February 13, with the New Challengers Stage. The panel will discuss the opening matchups, look at which teams should or could make it through and for which it's outside of the realms of possibilities, and close out with making the Pick'Em choices.

As usual, we will close out with the best viewer questions, so feel free to hit us up in the comments or during the show in the Twitch chat with whatever you'd like to ask the panel as a whole or any of its individual members.

The topics of the sixth episode will be:

- ECS with a new format
- StarLadder getting 2019's second Major?
- Na`Vi's failure at ICE Challenge
- Striker vs. Prof
- IEM Katowice New Challengers Stage breakdown
- HLTV Confirmed do the Pick'Ems
- Viewer questions

There is no reason to disband. This ICE upset means nothing. They can comeback stronger. Considering the fact they were top2 at the last Major and top2 team of the World in 2018.

You can pick whatever you want, but by the fact it's 1st variant.
2019-02-11 16:47
It was so rough watching simple being held back by inconsistent play by teammates. Electronic has to settle in as the second gun for the team. We all point to Edward but he's in an important role not suitable for him. Zeus is the IGL. He's gotta take the heat for this. When they bomb out the major, he's done. I'd slide Edward into the IGL and bring in Jame, angel, or a lurk. Take Edward off it and watch them win another Major.
