pronax, znajder recreate Ancient
Former fnatic duo Markus "pronax" Wallsten and Andreas "znajder" Lindberg have decided to give Ancient another run along with three other Swedish players.
Ancient were originally created in early 2016 by pronax following his departure from fnatic, whom he had led to three Major-winning campaigns, one of which alongside znajder.
That team went on to win the Pantamera CS:GO Challenge, in Stockholm, before moving to GODSENT, who ceased operations in June 2018 following the acquisition of their CS:GO line-up by Red Reserve.

For this new Ancient iteration, the ex-fnatic duo will be linking up with another well-known player in the scene, former Property and Epsilon member Robin "robiin" Sjögren, who had his Valve ban lifted in September after being barred from competing in the Major circuit for almost four years.
To complete the roster, the team turned to two up-and-coming Swedish players: 20-year-old Rasmus "kreaz" Johansson, who was part of the duttdutt line-up that placed fourth at IeSF World Championship 2017 and stood in for Red Reserve at Bets.Net Masters, and 16-year-old Peppe "Peppzor" Borak, who competed in ESEA S29 Advanced with tradigt.
"After some talks back and forth with pronax, we decided to make a Swedish team with upcoming Swedish talents, and I think we found ourselves a good mix to build something great with," znajder told HLTV.org.
"We have been practising for a while now, and if any organizer is interested in inviting us to any league or tournament where we can start proving ourselves, do not hesitate.
"We are looking for an organization. To contact us, send an email to WeAncient@gmail.com."
Meanwhile, pronax told HLTV.org that he will be hosting an 'Ask Me Anything' (AMA) Q&A session on the Counter-Strike subreddit on Friday from 16:00 to answer questions from fans.
Ancient, who will be competing in the closed qualifier for LOOT.BET HotShot Series Season 2, have the following roster:
Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Andreas "znajder" Lindberg
Robin "robiin" Sjögren
Rasmus "kreaz" Johansson
Peppe "Peppzor" Borak
