Renegades replace mousesports at StarSeries i-League Season 7

Renegades will take over the StarSeries i-League Season 7 slot left open by mousesports, who have declined their invitation due to the recent changes in their roster.

mousesports were one of the first invited teams by StarLadder, the tournament organizers, but they have turned the invitation down due to recent roster changes which saw the removal of Martin "STYKO" Styk and Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, as well as coach Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov, from the team's roster.

Taking their place will be Renegades, who are currently playing the Major in Katowice, where they attained Legends status after a 3-1 run in the group stage and will face MIBR in the quarter-finals on Friday.

The Boys will travel to China to play StarSeries i-League Season 7

This Renegades lineup played their first tournament after bringing Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas and Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai on at the last StarSeries i-League tournament, where they ended in 5-8th place following a quarter-final defeat to OpTic.

The $500,000 StarSeries i-League Season 7 will take place starting March 30th and ending April 7th in Shanghai, China, with the following list of participants:

They shouldve gone for astra... why the fuck would u invite rng instead
2019-02-27 17:03
Astralis probably declined. They will focus on more important tournaments instead.
2019-02-27 17:05
such a huge event should've attended it
2019-02-27 17:08
True but they skipped the last 2 starseries events as well. Might change in the future considering the prize pool increased a lot.
2019-02-27 17:10
Wonder if they would skip Berlin major since it's from Starladder :D probably not

Nah, astralis and liquid both not attending is clearly a statement
2019-02-27 17:20
Star series really lost their credibility as a t1 event. Good to see they’re getting a major
2019-02-27 17:10
Thats true but they are back on track and the major helps a lot too xD
2019-02-27 17:12
Yeah, Shame really, still a T2 tournament though and with the major they will probably jump to T1 again if they handle it well
2019-02-27 17:25
They usually put on good tournaments. I think t1 teams have been feeling over worked with all the tournaments and Sl has taken the hit for it
2019-02-27 17:30
true, starseries put their competitions together better than most T1 tournaments, such as the Faceit Major, which was a shitshow

Anything with faceit is a shitshow
2019-02-27 18:40
Faceit is amazing. They put out so much content. The major venue had WiFi problems.
2019-02-27 19:28
Faceit didn’t have problems their venue did.
