AGO replace ENCE in ECS Pinnacle Cup

AGO will be taking ENCE's spot in the ECS Season 7 Pinnacle Cup, it has been announced.

In a Twitter post, the Finnish team cited "miscommunication on the scheduling" as the reason to withdraw from the tournament, and stressed the need to "give our players ample time to recover and refocus" after the incredible runner-up finish at the IEM Katowice Major.

The announcement came just hours after ENCE announced that they will also skip the upcoming WESG World Finals in China "due to family reasons, scheduling and inability to start our visa process earlier" due to their deep run in Katowice.

AGO will step in following ENCE's withdrawal

AGO, who are currently ranked 46th in the world, will be facing Nemiga in the first round of the Swiss stage, kicking off at 18:00.

The ECS Pinnacle Cup will run from March 5-7 and feature 16 teams, eight invited plus eight qualified. It will be used to create a ranking that will be used to fill any potential vacant slots in the five regular season tournaments that FACEIT will be holding, each one with $25,000 on the line.

The winners of the first three tournaments will secure direct entry into the ECS Season 7 Finals, which will be held at the SSE Arena, Wembley, from June 6-9. The fourth regional spot will be filled by the team who earned the most prize money throughout the season.

Below you can find the match-ups for the first Swiss round:

18:00 Poland AGO vs. Belarus Nemiga
18:00 Kazakhstan AVANGAR vs. Europe Epsilon
18:00 Russia Spirit vs. Germany Sprout

19:00 France Vitality vs. Sweden Chaos

This, and site is purely dedicated to CS , what they stould be writing about? Lebron failing to making it into playoffs?
2019-03-05 15:05
they come here to read 2 different news about ence qutting tournaments within 3 or 4 hours? this is no dedication its bad journalism. there are like million of concepts, just update previous news obviously easiest, to avoid this spamming shit.

It’s an update of what’s going on with a top team, most of the stuff on hltv is informational but there are some interviews, articles about meta, roster reports and of course the top 20. I don’t see anything wrong with that, no one forces you to click every single article

It's for fans of withdrawing and replacing team to know some schedule changes are inbound. If I had planned to watch ENCE game, now I would have known I should do other stuff. Instead I'd come home at 6 and wait for nothing. Arguably better notifications system would solve this but I also like knowing about teams I don't follow. For example I'm no fan of Heroic but with Neo playing I'll be watching them outm
2019-03-05 15:15

2019-03-05 14:54
They probably need some rest, allu wants to be with his kid, many big tournaments in 2 weeks. Couple of reasons I could come up with right away.

They pulled out of WESG because it's a joke - from this though, I would've liked to see them go for that ECS league :/ Also I understand that their schedule is (was) a nightmare for this month - back from Polan, then to China, then to Brazil, then to China again - so yeah I guess I see why they're skipping an online league while this is going on...

For morons who can’t read between the lines ENCE pulled out of ECS to relax for a bit after Major and so allu can be with family They pulled out of WESG because its a shit tournament, they’re schedule is already filled considering they have BPS in a few weeks as well as MDL matches. Also they forgot to get their visas apparently

the fact is that you think you are right and can argue about better teams and having vp as your favourite team is quite depressing. Players from ence have their life and can do whatever they want. They have proved that they are one of the best teams rn and will show in the future lans that they are capable of doing something great. You on the other side are mad.
