Nordavind revamp roster with four new players
Nordavind have announced that they have finalised their team with the addition of four new players.
The future of the Norwegian team had been up in the air since the start of the year, when the roster was depleted to just three players following the departures of Kristian "akez" Kornbakk and Allan "AnJ" Jensen.
The 18-year-old will be linking up with the former dignitas trio of Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel, Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen and Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann, all of whom had been looking for a new challenge for quite some time.
Of the trio, cromen is the one who enjoyed the most success in 2018. He filled in for FaZe as a replacement for Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, helping the team to win ESL One Belo Horizonte and to reach the semi-finals at the ECS Season 5 Finals and at ESL One Cologne.
Rounding out the roster is Haakon "Radifaction" Tholo, who had recently stepped down from NoChance. This will be his second tenure with Nordavind after previously representing the organisation last year, during which the team placed top four at Nordic Championship Season 3.
"We're thrilled to announce our new Counter-Strike: GO lineup after several months of talks and negotiations. To be able to work with a seasoned veteran such as RUBINO is a privilege, and we hope his experience will further develop a talented group of Norwegian players assisted by a skilled Dane in TENZKI," Nordavind's General Manager, Stein Wilmann, said in a statement.
"One can't help but be inspired by what ENCE has accomplished the last year, and we will strive to do our best in order to represent Norwegian Counter-Strike in the best possible way."
Nordavind's roster looks as follows:
