OpTic receive Copenhagen Games invite

OpTic have become the second team to be invited to the 2019 edition of the Danish tournament.

René "cajunb" Borg and company join Heroic in the team list for the ~$100,000 event that is set to take place on April 18-20 in the Danish capital.

OpTic, who are set to take part in the WESG World Finals on March 11-17, made their last LAN appearance in Katowice where they failed to get out of the groups at the Europe Minor.

OpTic will play on home soil

Copenhagen Games 2019 will feature eight teams, four of which will earn their spot at the event through the main qualifier. With Heroic and OpTic already invited, two more teams will receive invitations to fill out the team list.

"We are looking forward to play on home ground and to show the Danish colours. It's the first time under the OpTic banner we return home to compete." said OpTic coach Casper "ruggah" Due.

"Therefore, we look forward to a very challenging tournament and we will try to ensure that the trophy stays on Danish ground. Buy a ticket, support our boys, get an autograph and be entertained with lovely CS."

Idk why you are so mad over a fact lmao. CPH Games is a trash event, you can read it on Twitter if you want. Many pros know it and said it already. Only Danes attend it (especially tier 5 teams or no-name teams with bunch of Faceit level 10s). They're literally asking for casters that would take the job for free, but not only that, but pay the travels by themselves. How shitty of an event org should you be to do that?

Also if I'm not mistaken last year they asked participants to come with their own PCs lol. Stop being so mad over my message. It's the truth and I don't care about norwegian teams. Your comment had nothing to do with my comment.

They probably would've announced north first. Tricked isn't good enough for invite or to qualify. Kinguin is now devils.one
2019-03-10 20:43
Those invites arent only for danish teams? I know Tricked isnt good enough but they are like the fifth best danish team i can think about... and Ex fragsters are shit. If i'm wrong, then will be Windigo instead of Tricked maybe
