Envy add trio to ESEA roster for DH Masters Dallas qualifier
Envy look set to reform their team after adding three new players to their roster ahead of the North American open qualifier for DreamHack Masters Dallas.
Jacob "FugLy" Medina, Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor and Sam "s0m" Oh have all appeared on Envy's roster for the qualifier, which starts on Wednesday, along with Josh "jdm64" Marzano and Noah "Nifty" Francis, the only players whose services the North American organisation seem interested in retaining.
The North American organisation have been looking to bolster their squad since parting ways with Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen, in October. After a brief period in which Matt "Pollo" Wilson stood in for the team, Finn "karrigan" Andersen was signed on loan from FaZe, helping the team at the Americas Minor and in the Minor Play-In.
Despite the team's failure to qualify for the Major, Envy were still reportedly interested in signing karrigan on a permanent basis, but any chances of that move happening were dashed when the Danish tactician opted to further his career in mousesports.
FugLy has been on the lookout for a new challenge since the end of February, when he was replaced by Tarik "tarik" Celik on NRG's roster, while ANDROID has been on Complexity's bench since December. As for s0m, the 16-year-old was last seen helping Swole Patrol to qualify for IEM Sydney before the core of the team was snatched by eUnited.
Envy, who will be in attendance at the ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas event, next month, have submitted the following roster for the DreamHack Masters Dallas qualifier:
