IEM Sydney China, East Asia, SEA qualifier brackets revealed
ESL has released the brackets for the IEM Sydney Greater China, East Asia, and Southeast Asia closed qualifiers which are set to take place on March 22-24.
All three closed qualifiers will feature four invited and four qualified sides, with the invitees going up against qualified teams in their first match.
The closed qualifiers will have double-elimination, best-of-three brackets which will culminate in best-of-five grand finals where a spot at the Australian event will be on the line in each region.
IEM Sydney 2019 will take place on April 30-May 5 with a $250,000 prize pool. 16 teams will duke it out in two groups of eight to advance to the playoffs which will be held at the Qudos Arena on the last three days.

Half of the teams that will compete at IEM Sydney have been determined. Three more sides will punch their tickets in the aforementioned qualifiers while three sides will get invited. The last two spots will be given out in the IEM Sydney Derby and the Oceania closed qualifier. Additionally, Swole Patrol's slot might go to eUnited, who have since acquired the majority of the roster who qualified for the event back in February.
