fnatic secure final IEM Sydney invite
fnatic have received the final invite to IEM Sydney, ESL announced on Monday.
Currently ranked 14th in the world, fnatic were last seen at the WESG World Finals, where they finished in fourth place after losing to AGO in the semi-finals and to G2 in the third-place decider, taking home $50,000.
Last year, fnatic finished in 5th-6th place in Sydney in what would turn out to be Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson's final event for the team before he was replaced by Richard "Xizt" Landström in the starting line-up.
IEM Sydney will be held from April 30 through to May 5, culminating with the playoffs at the Qudos Bank Arena, where the winner of the grand prize of $100,000 will be determined. There are now just three spots left to fill, with the team list looking as follows:
