HellRaisers are currently trying out Movistar Riders player Christian "⁠loWel⁠" Garcia Antoran, HLTV.org has learned.

The 22-year-old has been seen practicing online with the European team, who are currently in the market for a new fifth player after selling Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker to MOUZ, and benching Bence "⁠DeadFox⁠" Böröcz.

HellRaisers turned to loWel after initially fielding Vega Squadron's Igor "⁠crush⁠" Shevchenko, who played for the team in the European closed qualifier for DreamHack Masters Dallas, averaging a 0.82 rating.

loWel and lmbt could be set for a reunion

loWel has been with Movistar Riders since the team's creation, in July 2018. He has attended just two international events with the squad, the most recent of which was the WESG Finals, where the Spaniards were sent packing in the group stage after trading maps with fnatic and losing to eventual champions Windigo.

In HellRaisers, loWel reunites with former mousesports teammate Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný and with his ex-coach in that team, Sergey "⁠lmbt⁠" Bezhanov. During the Spanish player's 10-month stint in mouz, the team most notably placed top four at the ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals and top eight at ELEAGUE Season 2.

Riders it's a long term project, but maybe is frustrating for lowel and Mixwell being in a team who doesn't play any Major event (or at least have some chances to join) At least soon. They win "easily" on Spanish Scene, but when they have played vs teams with decent level always choked... Mix fuck his career parting away from OpTiC/G2 for this project Sorry but #Facts and we can see it after a year of his decision

Because he can hybrid and having a double awp presence is getting to a point where its almost necessary. The AUG has kind of blunted that need but even then I much rather trust mixwell with an AUG than lowel and on maps like train that can benefit from double awp, he can fill that role as well. Overall, mixwell is just a better choice.
