Astralis beat Natus Vincere; go 2-0 at BLAST

With another strong Inferno showing which finished 16-7 in their favor, Astralis extended their win streak on the map to 18 and secured a 2-0 start at BLAST Pro Series Miami.

After Astralis bagged a flawless pistol on the CT side of Inferno, Deagle entries from Egor "flamie" Vasilyev and Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev opened up the force buy for Natus Vincere, allowing them to bounce back and take a 4-1 lead.

After some tight rounds, the Danes managed to answer back on a mixed-buy, with Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth's 1v2 clutch following that up and allowing Astralis to take the lead.

Astralis finish the first day with two wins

The score was 9-4 in favor of Astralis before Natus Vincere mustered a reply, with the B split working out thanks to a triple from flamie and s1mple clutching out the afterplant. Still, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Xyp9x held strong in the last round, locking down the B bombsite to end the half with a five-round lead.

After a 3-0 start on the Terrorist side, Astralis were 13-5 up and on the verge of their second win of the day. With a successful B site push on which gla1ve secured a double, the Danes pushed it even further, but then flamie showed up with a quad kill defense of A to keep his team alive. However, Astralis bounced back shortly, on a force buy, and closed out the game 16-7.

This is because no one care about the day regime, all what the Navi's guys are doing is shoping.

You’re right mate. I’m Danish and when we hear about Astralis in Denmark we hear that they’re living professionally with their sport. They have a mental Coach, physical coach and diet coach and 3 of the 5 players have been playing together for over 8 years. They are so insanely stabile.
2019-04-13 08:56
This is the real key to success - attitude and Astralis team has it and Navi doesn't. I don't say that Astralis players are better or something but they are real professionals and they are playing not in game but they are compete in sport.

s1mple just won't go negative kdr and <1 rating xD
2019-04-13 01:34
Well that's the best player to ever touch this game. It would be an achievement for a team if s1mple goes negative kd against them.
2019-04-13 12:22
That B site loss on navi T side lost the game for them... They had Astralis on the ropes economy wise and they dont check the most used angle in the game... They knew that there was one more player on b... why not check entire site...

Because they don't have igl they need something like hampus or something i don't know but i believe that s1mple would make huge difference and help them grow up.
2019-04-13 01:50
U apparently didn't read niko's interview which came out 2 days ago. He wanna get rid off igl role asap but "there is nobody else in the team who wanna take any initiative as an igl" I quote. They are looking for igls but haven't found any yet. Some refused to join faze, some aren't available. - that's what he said. Niko is igling + fragging. Show some respect. Dude just dropped 32 bombs with 2 clutches (one of them was ace clutch) still didn't win coz adren and olof are washed up bots.

Device 1.29 last on his team But still Way better then S1mple 1.09
2019-04-13 10:26
Coz they won, winning team always gets higher rating. Device has been the least impactful player in both maps they played today even though they won. Whereas s1mple is in top 8 in this tournament even though they lost a map.
2019-04-13 12:30
Facts dont Lie 1.29 Way better then 1.09

2019-04-13 11:46
here. Navi top2. Astralis just too good last 2 years.
2019-04-13 12:10
Here..... we don't care if navi loses to astralis as long as they don't suck as much as mibr and faze do. NAVI top3 in the world. - sufficient for us.
