TheMongolz announce return
TheMongolz have announced their return to activity with a brand new line-up ahead of the Asia Minor.
Enkhtaivan "Machinegun" Lkhagva, the most famous player in Mongolia, headlines this new iteration of TheMongolz, who have been absent from the scene since September 2018, when the previous roster was acquired by Chinese organization Storm Rider.
The 29-year-old will be joined in this new team by three other players with previous ties with TheMongolz, Temuulen "temk4wow" Byambasuren, Erdenedalai "maaRaa" Bayanbat and Uuganbayar "NEUZ" Nyam-Otgon, with the latter two having been part of the roster that would go on to play in China under Storm Rider.
Rounding out the team is 20-year-old Tuvshintugs "Annihilation" Nyamdorj, who is virtually unknown outside of his homeland. He has just two tournaments on record, both of which under IM11 as they took part in the East Asia qualifiers for IEM Sydney.
The announcement of TheMongolz's return comes just days after another eye-catching Mongolian roster was created for the Asia Minor qualifiers, featuring the remaining ex-Storm Riders players and 5POWER benched duo Bat-Enkh "kabal" Batbayar and Gan-Erdene "dobu" Batbold.
TheMongolz have the following line-up:
