mousesports through to DreamHack Tours grand final over AVANGAR

mousesports have become the first grand finalists at DreamHack Open Tours 2019 after defeating AVANGAR 2-0 in the semis.

The first semi-final at the $100,000 event kicked off on Train where the CT-sided mousesports won the pistol round after Özgür "woxic" Eker picked up a triple kill. AVANGAR lost a 3vs2 and a 4vs2 in the following two rounds to trail 3-0.

The Kazakhstani team got on the scoreboard thanks to Timur "buster" Tulepov's triple kill with the AUG in the fifth round and they came back to tie the game at 4-4. Finn "karrigan" Andersen found two Deagle kills in the ninth round to reclaim mousesports' lead.

mouz will take on the winner of Valiance vs. G2 in the grand final

After finishing the first half 8-7 ahead, mousesports grabbed the second pistol round victory as David "frozen" Čerňanský got four kills. Chris "chrisJ" de Jong and company followed it up with six more rounds to earn eight map points and closed out the map in their second attempt, winning 16-8.

Bektiyar "fitch" Bahytov stepped up to the plate to start the second map, Dust2, as he secured the pistol round victory with a quad kill. mousesports responded with a five-round streak and the teams traded blows from there on until the end of the first half, which concluded with a three-round mousesports lead (9-6).

AVANGAR's campaign has come to an end

karrigan set up the play in the second pistol round and got three flash assists as mouz reached double-digits. Robin "ropz" Kool got four kills with the AUG to shut down AVANGAR's gun round, extending his team's lead to 12-6.

AVANGAR picked up their first T-side round on the B-site where Sanjar "SANJI" Kuliev found two opening kills with the Deagle in the 21st round. However, this would be AVANGAR's only round on the offense as mousesports took the following rounds to win the map with a 16-7 score. With the 2-0 series victory, mousesports have advanced to the grand final.

He really is. Theres nothing to say, about the performance in FaZe, when you're on a team with baby-NiKo, who gets toxic if he doesnt have it his way.

the curse of having NiKo on your team. insane player but probably destroys teamwork. theres no way a team with NiKo in it will ever have work ethic of astralis. its like having guaranteed decent placements but top placements are always a question.

and yet hltv geniuses will always claim to know exactly what is going on behind the scenes, like how they know for a fact that s1mple is a bad teammate and that it was definitely niko’s call to kick karrigan
2019-05-19 15:00
and what if I know karrigan personally, and therefor knows whats up... did that ever occur to you?

Love how all of these people who know NiKo personally keep commenting, it's so nice I think karrigan was just kicked because the team had lost too many matches and had been getting progressively worse, and so they lost faith in his abilities as an IGL - and after that, there's no point in keeping him
