Envy eye Sonic as jdm64 replacement - Report
One of the North American side's original prospects was believed to be former Bad News Bears member Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, but the Canadian appears to have struck a deal with Lazarus, as he is part of their registered roster in the first Americas Minor NA open qualifier (May 25-26) as one of the stand-ins for Michael "dapr" Gulino and Valve-banned Braxton "swag" Pierce alongside Pujan "FNS" Mehta.
The move will see Sonic branch outside of a South African roster for the first time in his career, after having spent the majority of the last four years under the banner of Bravado up until the beginning of 2019, when the team temporarily represented Denial before signing with ATK.
With the departure of jdm64, the change will make Nifty the sole remaining member of the original roster signed by Envy in September 2018, as the team underwent multiple changes in March, with Sam "s0m" Oh, Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor, and Jacob "FugLy" Medina added to the roster.
