G2 outlast Renegades; ENCE overwhelm Isurus
G2 defeated Renegades 19-17 on Train while ENCE beat Isurus 16-4 on Inferno in the upper bracket at DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019.
G2 took on Renegades on Train to begin their DreamHack Masters Dallas campaign and kicked off the game by securing the first seven rounds on the CT-side.
Renegades got on the scoreboard in the eighth round thanks to Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad's double kill but the French team responded with a three round streak to make it 10-1. Renegades found their groove towards the end of the first half, winning the last four rounds to trail 10-5.

Kenny "kennyS" Schrub stepped up to the plate in the second pistol round, getting three kills and extending his team's lead to 11-5. After losing the following two rounds, Renegades responded with jkaem's triple kill (13-6).
G2 stopped Renegades' six-round streak by taking the outer bombsite in the 25th round, with Richard "shox" Papillon and François "AMANEK" Delaunay getting two kills each (14-11). G2 earned two match points but couldn't convert them as the game went to overtime. G2 closed out the match by winning two rounds on both sides, finishing it off 19-17.

The Inferno game between ENCE and Isurus started with Maximiliano "max" Gonzalez's quad kill in the pistol round. The T-sided Isurus picked up two more rounds to lead 3-0.
ENCE didn't lose a single player in the first weapon round as Aleksi "allu" Jalli picked up a triple AWP kill. The only other round Isurus won in the first half was the 11th one, in which Nicolás "Noktse" Dávila clutched a 1vs3 to complete his ace.

The Finnish team, who led 11-4 at halftime, took the first three rounds in the second half to make it 14-4. Jere "sergej" Salo and Jani "Aerial" Jussila won a 2vs2 post-plant on the B-site in the 19th round to earn 11 match points. ENCE closed out the game with a 16-4 final scoreline.
