ZywOo becomes ECS Season 7 Finals MVP
Outclassing the competition at ECS Season 7 Finals, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut has earned his second Most Valuable Player award by HLTV.org and betway at the London event.
The 18-year-old put up a supreme showing over the course of the $500,000 tournament, leading Vitality to their second title in their last three appearances with a 1.41 average rating across 10 maps played.
The group stage saw ZywOo begin to set up his claim with five out of six maps rated above 1.00 as Vitality claimed two wins over Complexity and suffered a loss to North, but once ECS reached the playoffs stage, there was no contest. The Frenchman topped off his run with out-of-this-world performances in the bracket, with 1.72 and 1.81 series ratings up against NRG and FURIA, respectively.
The Frenchman's impact is obvious from his tournament-leading numbers in overall rating (1.41), assists per round (0.17), clutches won (7), and high placings in nearly every other category, such as ADR (92.2), KPR (0.86), DPR (0.56), and KAST (78.8%), among others.
With this award, ZywOo now has two MVP medals in his cabinet after claiming his first one two weeks ago at cs_summit 4, continuing his amazing form since Vitality formed late last year.
