DreamHack Open Summer viewer's guide

With DreamHack Open Summer set to kick off on Saturday, we have put together a comprehensive viewer's guide for the $100,000 event.

DreamHack Open Summer will take place on June 15-17, where 8 teams from the Europe and CIS regions will face off for their share of the prize pool.

The tournament will feature two GSL groups, with best-of-one opening and winners' matches, while the elimination and decider matches will be played in a best-of-three format. The top two sides from each group will then progress to the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs, which will take place at the Elmia Convention Center, in Jönköping, Sweden.

AVANGAR are the highest-ranked team in attendance

Group A features AVANGAR, Tricked, Winstrike and Aristocracy, with the latter recently being acquired by Codewise Gaming. Ancient, who booked their spot at the event through the Swedish qualifier, have been drawn into Group B alongside OpTic and Chaos, as well as CR4ZY, who advanced through the European qualifier.
